Man's Higher Consciousness - Hilton Hotema - (click to order) (Review by Sun~Rose):

I first read this book when I didn't know much about anything except what I learned in school. [now I know a little bit more, and to always keep questioning and being curious!]

It fascinated me ~~ all full of wonderful ideas, so different from anything I'd heard before. And I found it very inspiring. I always felt good after reading in it. It begins to give one the realization that we are far more than we think; Which is good news.

And it was a wonderful inspiration for fasting, too.

Mucusless Diet Healing System. (Click to order) Rational Fasting - For physical, mental and spiritual rejuvination. (click to order) These 2 books are all time classics.

Arnold Ehret has been a great inspiration to many in helping them convert to a raw vegan diet (which ultimately will lead one to fruitarianism).

His particular emphasis is on fasting and body detoxing. I have read both books many times and highly recommend them to any budding fruitarian's library. Read, enjoy, be inspired.

Blatant Raw Foodist Propaganda (click to order) Another great no holds barred Fruitarian book.

I love Joe Alexanders bold style.

Again another inspirational piece, and I can't emphasize enough the importance of being inspired while transitting to a healthy diet as there is no doubt in my mind how diabolically addictive cooked food really is.

Fruit the Food and Medicine for Man (click to order) Based on 34 years of research, this book shows that a fruit-based, raw-food diet is the key to natural health and superb fitness.

The author has virtually left no stone unturned in searching for a simple way of living that keeps one well without using extraordinary measures.

Little Tyke (click to order) Although, not specifically related to fruitarianism, nevertheless an interesting story about a Lioness who of her own choice, decided to become vegetarian, and refused point blank to eat any flesh product.

(despite numerous attempts to trick her into doing so by people who initally believed she should not be given the choice).

You can read a brief account of her life in here: Little Tyke..

Autobiography of a Yogi Great reading, the story of Yoganandas life through his own eyes..

His encounters with several spiritually enlightened beings, including Ghandi and meetings with 2 breatharians - Theresa Neumann and Giri Bala.

Well worth reading.
