I Often get asked how I manage to finance my life.. How can I afford to globe trot as much as I do? The simple answer is that to a certain degree, I have let go... OK, not fully, I still admit to addiction to many things, but I can truthfully say, that I have been out of full time employment since.. let me think a bit.. hmm.. an estimated guess.. 1991, I believe. So over the past years, I have done work as a brick layer, translator, math teacher, grape picker, strawberry picker (etc.), guesthouse receptionist, cleaner, post office mail sorter, gardener, english teacher.. to name but a few things. And it has been my experience, that just a couple of hours work a day, or less, over a few months a year, has been enough for me to live off of comfortably, and to travel when the opportunity has arisen.. Enabling me also to save some for those periods of time when no paid work has been immediatly available..
