Roswell was settled in 1869 by Van C. Smith. Van Smith opened a trading post at the junction of two major trails that crossed southern New Mexico.

What started out as a short, interesting news item on the American Computer Company Internet Web Site, has turned into a remarkable story, one that is a major headache this morning for certain US Department of Defense Top Brass.

In July 1997, American Computer Company posted a slightly humorous, interesting story about allegations that in 1947, the Army Air Force may have transferred a captured Alien Space Craft to Bell Labs for commercialization, resulting in the Transistor and other major engineering discoveries.

Now, after six months, after receipt of tens of thousands of pages of documents, and after pursuing thousands upon thousands of leads, ACC has found it has a bigger problem: The Army has apparently admitted that the documents describing a downed UFO in Roswell, NM in 1947, were deliberately misdirected during the subsequent months, along with "crash materials", as the Army spun off the US Air Force (which was formed in November of 1947). As a result, lost in the cracks of a post war Military Bureaucracy, a secret initiative to evaluate Alien Technology for military and commercial advances sprung forth from the same spring as had been evaluating German V-2 Rockets captured by the Army, and personnel assigned to the Manhattan Project (which had created the Atom Bomb during World War II).

A meeting between ACC and the US Army Legislative Liaison has ACC personnel scratching their heads in amazement:

"Its a revelation. The Army has admitted that 'certain documents and things' relating to the Roswell and Corona crash and landing of what was probably TWO Alien Space Craft manned by a 'neutral' group of observers trying to determine the threat potential of the evaluation by the Army of the mating of the Atom Bomb and the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, may actually HAVE been covered up, hushed up, and remains, to this date, a fully funded project spinning off decade after decade of engineering projects aimed at developing a defensive capability not just geared towards human warfare, but towards the defense of our Planet from 'invaders from another world'."

"It appears to all onlookers, that the Army is taking the possibility of a need to be able to militarily defend the US from alien marauders quite seriously, and has assessed the time it might take for a large 'invasion fleet' to reach earth. As a result, a very long term, super secret project aimed at equipping the Earth to defend itself against invasions from other worlds, has been underway, while the Army and Air Force have spoken 'laughingly' about 'Martians' and 'Little Green Men'."

"A super secret initiative exists to notify the Commander in Chief in the event of Alien Onslaught. The justification for the enormously profitable commercialization projects, which have been quietly interspersed with more human advanced research efforts, is what has been labeled 'The greatest threat to National Security that has ever been discovered' -- ETs!! -- secretly in some Brass Hat circles since the late 40's!!"

ACC has decided to quietly retrace its steps to continue its efforts to recreate from drawings in the public sector, technologies that may have been the object of Army and Air Force 'space defense' interest. These recently included drawings of a unique device recreated by ACC and a local University Physicist, which has characteristics previously unseen in the semiconductor field. Among the drawings from a 1947 technical artist, are pictures of a 'coherent light source' - a laser beam drawn at a time 10 years or more before the Laser was officially invented.

Revelations:

Col. Corso tells that there were five extraterrestrials, 4-1/2 feet tall with greyish-brown skin, four-fingered hands and oversized hairless heads, found at the Roswell UFO crash site, two of them still alive. One tried to run away and was shot by nervous soldiers. The other was still alive but dying when he arrived in the back of an Army truck at Roswell Army Air Field. He was Post Duty Officer at Fort Riley, Kansas in 1947, the night a shipment of Roswell artifacts arrived from Fort Bliss. Colonel Corso examined the shipment, which included one of the dead extraterrestrials preserved in a thick light-blue liquid. The shipment was destined for what is now called Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Corso speaks about serving in President Eisenhower's National Security Council, and seeing the memos about the Roswell incident and the "goods" retrieved from it.

The Colonel divulges how he spearheaded the Army's supersecret reverse-engineering project that "seeded" extraterrestrial technology at American corporations such as IBM, Hughes Aircraft, Bell Labs, and Dow Corning - without their knowledge. He describes the devices found aboard the Roswell craft, and how they became the precursors for today's integrated circuit chips, fibre optics, lasers, night-vision equipment, super-tenacity fibers (such as Kevlar plastic armor), and classified discoveries, such as psychotronic devices that can translate human thoughts into signals that control machinery, Stealth aircraft technology, and Star Wars particle-beam devices. He also discusses the role that extraterrestrial technology played in shaping geopolitical policy and events; how it helped the United States surpass the Russians in space; spurred elaborate Army initiatives such as SDI (Star Wars Projects), Project Horizon (to place a military base on the Moon), and HARP; and ultimately brought about the end of the Cold War.

Colonel Corso also said that captured UFOs were/are kept at Norton, Edwards and Nellis (Area 51) Air Force Bases. He said a UFO Working Group was set up by President Truman in September, 1947, a group some call MJ-12, and that it has functioned ever since. In the 1950s two crude prototypes of antigravity craft were constructed, but were powered by crude human nuclear fission generators, and were inefficient and leaked radiation. He says that the Star Wars program was always primarily to prepare for war against the extraterrestrials in case of invasion.

Corso was one of the ultraconservative Cold Warriors who continually feared a Communist takeover. The military and political groups he allied with adopted the same outlook on the extraterrestrial Visitors, fearing them as some invasion force that had to be repulsed by a crash program of back-engineering Star Wars weapons from captured UFO technology. His reactionary Strom Thurmond conservatism, lumping extraterrestrials with Communists as insidious potential invaders, distorts his otherwise clear and factual portrayal of events in the decades after Roswell.

What Corso Didn't Reveal:

Since Colonel Corso was U.S. Army, he was not privy to developments in the Navy and Air Force, which also received some of the Roswell technology for back-engineering purposes. We know separately, from sources like Ben Rich of Lockheed-Martin and retired Colonel Steve Wilson of USAF's Project Pounce, that the Air Force ultimately developed manned antigravity flying discs and triangular craft, Stealth technology including radar and optical invisibility, killer- laser satellites, and electromagnetic-pulse low-frequency microwave cannons to shoot down UFOs.

Colonel Corso died in June 1998 of heart failure. He had been ill.

No Details Of Flying Disk Are Revealed Roswell Hardware Man and Wife Report Disk Seen

The intelligence office of the 509th Bombardment group at Roswell Army Air Field announced at noon today,that the field has come into possession of a flying saucer.

According to information released by the department, over authority of Maj. J.A. Marcel, intelligence officer, the disk was recovered on a ranch in Roswell vicinity, after an unidentified rancher has notified Sheriff Geo.Wilcox, here, that he had found the instument on his premises. Major Marcel and detail from his department went to the ranch and recovered the disk, it was stated.

After the intelligence office here had inspected the instument it flown to "higher headquarters." The intelligence office stated that no details of the saucer's construction of its had been revealed.

Mr. and Mrs. Dan Wilmot apparently the only persons in Roswell who had seen what they thought was a flying disk. They were sitting on their porch at 105 South Penn. Last Wednesday night at about ten minutes before ten o'clock when a large glowing object zoomed out of the sky from a southeast, going in Northwesternly direction at a high rate of speed. Wilmot called Mrs.Wilmot's attention to it both ran down into the yard to watch. It was in sight for less than aminute, perhaps 40 or 50seconds, Wilmot estimated. Wilmot said that it appeared to him to be about 1500 feet, high and going to fast. He estimated between 400 and 500 MPH. In apperance it looked oval in shape like two inverted saucers,faced mouth to mouth,or like two old type washbowls placed together in the same fashion.The entire body glowed as though light were showing through from inside, though not like it would be if a light were merely underneath.

From where he stood Wilmot said that the object looked to be about five feet in size, and making allowance from it was from town he figured that it must have been 15 or 20 feet in diameter, though this was just a guess. Wilmot said that he heard sound, but that Mrs.Wilmot said she heard a swishing sound for a very short time.

The object the southeast and disappeared over the treetops in a general visinity of 6-mile hill. Wilmot, who is one of the most respected and reliable citizens in town,kept the story to himself hoping that someone else would come out and tell about having seen one, but finally today decided that he would go ahead and tell about seeing it. Thein possession of one came only a to release the details of what he had seen.

Witnesses report that there were alien bodies removed. Supposed film footage of these aliens was revealed to the public in the summer of 1995. Some believed it was authentic. Many did felt it was a re-inactment.

People ponder the truth about a government that could cover up such an occurrence blaming it on weather balloons and dummies they fell from the sky. We wonder if they think we are the dummies!
